Early in his stint in the G League this season, Bronny James started slowly, and at the time, it looked like perhaps he should’ve stayed in college. But more recently, he has shown some signs of promise.
Although he isn’t consistently playing for the G League’s South Bay Lakers, as many feel he should be, he started to show a bit of growth in December. Most notably, he scored 30 points on Dec. 12 in a road game versus the Valley Suns.
On Friday, he had his best game to date with a 31-point effort in a win against the Rip City Remix, with 13 of his points coming in the fourth quarter. Despite all the attention, positive and negative, that has been focused on him, he said after the game that he is having fun.
His father, LeBron James, posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) a message of gratitude.
